Not to mention the prevalent problems such as hypertension, respiratory problems, osteoarthritis, infertility and respiratory problems.What is even more alarming is that not only adults have this problem. Even children have uncontrollable urge to eat and when parents do not guide them properly, they can have this problem.Taking a different perspective about this issue, our society eyes overweight people as outcasts. Most overweight people are not part of the "in" crowd and they are the ones who have very low self-esteem. They cannot function well in the society because of physical and emotional problems.I can name many obese people who have made it big in this life, but still, they acknowledge the fact that being overly fat is not good. It is not a matter of ridiculing body size and shape but a matter of knowing what is the "right" and "recommended" weight.
